Working with Alina has honestly been such a positive experience. I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and at first they told me to basically stop eating roti, rice, fruit…all carbs pretty much. I was super overwhelmed and stressed out so I messaged Alina for help. From the very start she made it feel way more doable. She didn’t tell me to cut stuff out completely, she just showed me how to manage portions, count carbs, and pair them with protein and fat. I was still eating fruit, rice, roti, stuff I liked. A few times my sugars were a bit higher and I messed up but she explained why and what to adjust next time instead of making me panic. After like 2 weeks my blood sugars were mostly under control and stayed that way the rest of my pregnancy. I felt way more confident with my meals and readings. Delivery went smoothly, baby was healthy, no complications. Honestly so thankful to Alina for helping me through such a stressful time.
I wasn’t sure about doing a program at first but decided to try Alina’s 3-month program for weight loss and honestly it turned out way better than I expected. She made a meal plan with foods I actually like so I didn’t have to eat weird stuff or separate meals from my family. She’d check in pretty much every day which kept me on track, and if I ate out she’d tell me fast what I could pick which helped a lot. She was really flexible too, changing things if I needed without making a fuss. I ended up losing 6kg by the end and felt like I actually had support the whole time. Even now, weeks later, I’m still making better choices on my own and losing weight without stressing about sticking 100% to the plan. Couldn’t have done it without her, seriously.
